Keystone Petroleum,
LTD
(AIM-GKP), has
licensed IDEAS
international oil
and gas venture
management solution
for it’s International
operations.
Gulf Keystone
Petroleum, Ltd, an
independent oil &
gas exploration
company focused on
the exploration,
development and
production of
hydrocarbons in
North Africa and the
Middle
East, recently announced
that it has signed
an exploration
permit covering the
Benguecha Permit in
north eastern
Algeria's
Constantine Basin.
This has increased
the Company's
interests in the
Republic of Algeria
to 9 blocks covering
nearly 33,216 square
kilometers. The
contract for these
blocks, which
establishes a joint
venture between
SONATRACH and Gulf
Keystone, was a
direct negotiation
outside of the
recent international
bid round. In that
bid round, Gulf
Keystone was awarded
two contracts with
reserve estimates of
1.5 billion barrels
of oil equivalent in
place.
